The ship of Y/N and Dark gets infinitely funner in retrospect.
I don't care how dormant Celine is in the supernatural sorta system that makes up Dark. Imagine you're Actor, and this guy who got inadvertently WASTED by your half cooked revenge plan comes back to life, and at some point in your attempt to woo this person to your side, they end up breaking off and hooking up with the demon that houses the soul of the woman whos infidelity supposedly started this mess.
ACTOR JUST KEEPS TAKING FUCKING L'S AT THIS POINT AND GOD REFUSES TO LET HIM KNOW PEACE.

Mark grinned. It was wide, and smug, it was cruel, and it was a smile that did not fit his face.
If the shadow- attorney, date, partner in crime, captain, what name fit them this time?- had a beating heart, it surely would've stopped for just a moment. What Mark said, that dumb little phrase, it reminded them of something. They weren't entirely sure what it was.
Life is ours to choose. It rattled their brain, forced an uneasy feeling into their stomach.
A smile came to mind. Something much friendlier, a smile that made them feel warm. A smile that encouraged them.
Mark wore a smile that did not fit his face. 'Life is ours to choose' was a phrase that did not fit Mark's voice. It didn't matter how hard they racked their brain, they didn't know why.
They smiled back. They nodded their head.
If Mark saw their hesitation, he didn't say anything.
Ours to choose, to choose.
Their life hadn't been their own in a while.
They were tired of making choices.
Choices for him, at least.
The passengers in the car but as different Y/Ns from Mark's projects. The driver is the District Attorney; trying to hide how nervous they are behind the wheel because they haven't been out of the mirror long. The one in the front is from Date. The one behind Date is from Heist and hasn't gotten Ending 6 yet. The one behind the DA is the Captain; catching them up to speed on everything they missed and talking about the general space misadventures--well-meaning but also a little overwhelming.
Don't ask Cap how they got their bulky ass frame in the car just go with it

Am I the only one who concluded DA was probably mute while watching WKM? Cos I got really offended and mad at Celine when she made the comment about us being quiet, cos like of course we’ve been quiet, we’re MUTE! And had to remind myself that it wasn’t canon and DA probably had just been quiet.
