i did my makeup and also drew on my leg and now it's 3:30am and i'm loving life
done got my hair did!!! went grey this time and i'm obsessed
i like this selfie hit the gym yesterday and today (after a slack-y monday of not going) and i did arms and chest and back spread out over these two days. feeling sore and worked out which is a great feeling :) not feeling super confident rn but... i'm hoping i'll start feeling better after a few more weeks of working out consistently. as long as i workout 4 days a week, i see that as a success. i leave the weekends to give myself a break and i leave one day during the school week in case i need it. my theory is that i grind hard at school and at the gym during the week and then chill on the weekends. it's working so far :) i found a picture of myself before my junior year in high school when i was at my lightest... and it really was a shot to my confidence. but something good that came out of it was that i changed my mindset of working to the lightest possible healthy weight for my height to something more 1) attainable 2) more aesthetically pleasing and 3) healthy.
this week has been really great tbh. i’ve been grinding in the gym and with school work and i feel super productive and happy :) i’ll post a picture of my planner spread for this week tomorrow with all my workouts written up :) still eating like shit tho, so i need to work on that, then i’ll feel so much better
today was my first full day back at school! last night and today i worked on organizing my room and cleaning and making sure everything is conducive to general happiness and productivity. it’s actually really nice to be back.
i also made it to the gym today! im very determined to use my school week as a time to work hard on school and assignments as well as my physical self this semester. i’ve completely conquered my fear of lifting while other people are around, and im finally tired of having my body not feel the best, and not work and feel as good as i know it can. i’ve dedicated a space in my planner for writing down the workout i did that day so i can keep track of how much weight im lifting and how much cardio im doing as the semester progresses. im slowly personalizing my planner to be exactly what i need it to be. i’ll post a picture of that as my log on here of what im doing :)
i’ve recently made all my own natural skin care, and i’ve created a consistent morning and night routine that i’m going to start following. but ill make another post on that, hopefully it might help people who are interested in not putting chemicals on their face. i’ve always struggled with acne, but these all-natural things are really helping my skin even though it’s problematic, so going natural can be for anyone!
i feel very happy and optimistic about this semester, i know it’s going to be a lot of work but i have my wonderful, supportive family and boyfriend who believe that i can do anything, and that is amazing motivation.
