In your opinion, is genderfae meant to be exclusive for genderfluid people who are never man-aligned... Or should other multigender people be allowed to describe themselves as genderfae? For example, would a bigender person whose 2 genders are female and nonbinary be considered genderfae?
Every definition I’ve seen of genderfae mentions fluidity, so I think that is pretty inherent to the meaning of the word, at least as it’s been used so far. I know that some experiences of bigender and other multigender identities can involve fluidity, so there’s definitely room for overlap between those and genderfae.
But there probably should be a word for not-necessarily-fluid multigender identities that don’t include anything male/masculine! Maybe someone should coin one? Or maybe the meaning of genderfae could be adapted into something like
An experience of more than one gender, either fluid or not, that never includes male/masculine genders
to be more inclusive, if people like that? I’m genderfae and don’t see a problem with changing it to that if others don’t object, and since it’s not a super popular label yet it might not be too hard to get an updated definition to catch on.
