What is the solid waste management strategy followed by Infosys to be self-dependent in managing waste?
In 2008, Infosys took a pledge in the United Nations to become carbon neutral by 2020. For this we put together a Green Initiative team, which consists of subject matter experts including wastewater treatment, R&D, energy, water and building, construction, natural gas, artificial lighting experts, architects etc. This core team drives all the environmental initiatives and we together build the physical infrastructure of Infosys assuring least environmental impact.
