On the opening page of Thor #5, we learn that most New York City superheroes in the late 1990s woke up and listened to local talk radio. The Good Morning Vietnam callback aside, I don’t think this host is based on anyone in particular: Chucky Diamond seems like a weird amalgamation of Howard Stern and a conservative AM radio host like Rush Limbaugh.
