Today I found out Nurse Ann is canonically from New York so HC that she has the stereotypical "Noo yawk" accent and the creeps have no clue what she's saying half the time.
Pffft! I have a friend from New York. We piss him off often at work, just so he can talk like that. Its soo much better when their upset! I can already see her trying to argue with one of the others! And once she hits the peak of "Noo Yawk" everything just gets lost in translation.
some kind of big industrial truck was stuck in the snow outside my place this morning and i was treated to the delightful spectacle of one guy trying to drive the truck out and two guys standing outside screaming instructions and insults. “NO! I TOLD YOU! YOU GOTTA GO BACK!!” “DON’T FUCKIN HIT THE TREE, IDIOT!” as the wheels just like spin helplessly in the snow, packing and smoothing it further. was anyone trying to just. dig the wheels out? they were not. as god intended
i think no matter what azealia banks does ima always love her
Thor #5 (November 1998). Dan Jurgens (Writer), John Romita Jr. (Penciler), Klaus Janson (Inker), Richard Starkings’ Comicraft/WA (Words & Visuals), Gregory Wright (Colors), Tom Breevort (Editor), Bob Harras (Editor-In-Chief).
On the opening page of Thor #5, we learn that most New York City superheroes in the late 1990s woke up and listened to local talk radio. The Good Morning Vietnam callback aside, I don’t think this host is based on anyone in particular: Chucky Diamond seems like a weird amalgamation of Howard Stern and a conservative AM radio host like Rush Limbaugh.
