To any and all digital omo artists: please advise me* on current drawing programmes and animation/animatics softwares---
✨ Which ones do you use? :)
For ...reasons... I didn't manage to keep with the times. I used to use Ph0to౭hop & ¡llu౭trat0r CS2 (with a drawing tablet for which the drivers went obsolete years ago), and for animations I used Macr0mədia Fla౭h. Yes... old, old. <__<
-- To get back on board I recently got a (Win10) desktop computer that's more powerful than my oldie laptop, and bought a new (basic?) drawing tablet. I'm somewhat lost in the world of software, though, and hope to receive your advice or thoughts.
At any rate, thank you for reading this. ^^ 💕 If you would like to comment in private or anonymously, my DMs and Ask box are open.
* I like free things, but don't mind (one-time) payments if the product is good. From what I gathered, Ad0bə seems to be an online-with-paid-subscription thing only now, which doesn't seem appealing on its face.
Poor Katsu seems to always be the one having accidents
Omg Anon… Ψ(≦.≦) I feel like you just outed me as a secret villain - in two out of four pictures I posted Katsuya actually had a full wetting accident, which does seem like a lot. Ψ(.__.)
-- My sketchbook contains many more scenarios with Katsuya & Camile, but I swear, in most he's just suffering desperation or finding somewhere to pee. Ψ(ಥ◡ಥ)
Anyway, let's look at some sloppy sketch bits under ze cut. Because we can.
Heheh, this took for ever. ^^;
Katsu doesn't always have accidents - only in ..most of the sketchbits I just posted. (ಠಿ.ಠಿ)💭 Hm. I hope this response didn't make you sad, Anon, but thank you for your kind concern for poor Katsu. 💕
I do actually have some better sketches of both Katsu and Camile (car omo, public peeing shenanigans, peeing in the bushes, and Camo bedwetting), but I hope to turn those into halfway-decent drawings to post as sl0ppy omo masterp¡eces some time.
about the tags on that post, I did imagine Ts/ukki ( do I really have to censore nicknames?) in the victim position because when I started writing hq fics I hc'd him as pee shy 😆 I kinda switched to one that's a bit more amusing to me (not physically shy at all but fussy about privacy), but I do still like the idea even if I didn't do it justice in my writing
also an old art thing I did, that I don't have anymore after I cleaned up old stuff...yesterday, where Yama/guchi is doing a T-pose in front of a bathroom telling a desperate Bok/uto that Ts/ukki is in there so he can't use it (cue "Shut up, Yama/guchi" from inside the bathroom), it's exactly the trope that was described at the end of the post so it seemed fitting
and since those two are childhood friends (just like Kuro/ken), Yams is probably the first person to notice whenever Ts/ukki has to go in general

Ze Shenanigans:
Tsukk¡'s own brain is cramping his style! ..and obvsly his urinary sphincter.
You probably recognise the images - this is "drawing what I see"-practice. ^^
Also, the images are all taped to plastic sheets!
Again - thank you for the message! I had too much fun drawing all this. (≧ᴗ≦)💕
Hey, I just wanted to come and tell you how much I love all the puns you make. I absolutely ADORE puns, but I am very bad in making them myself. I crack up every time you say Micr0slash and the pee pot pun was too good! It's amazing! (MrsLittleleaks)
Aaaaahhh, MrsLL, thank you so much for saying so! 乀(≧フ≦)ノ💗
I've always been a fan of wordplay of all kinds - strange puns, silly nicknames, anagrams, spoonerisms, idioms, alliterations, deliberately-misunderstood clichés, (over-)extended metaphors, etc.
-- Honestly, it all tickles my own fancies, and I simply can't help myself. I naturally feel better when I smile and laugh a lot.
That said, I am even happier knowing I'm not the only one laughing - having fun with other people makes the amusement so much better. (≧◡≦)💗 And, of course, simply "not being found annoying" does too. XD
As for Micr0slash - that was actually initially a misreading, because the guy's actual name is just odd enough to not have been recognised by my brain. And we're piddling around (pun intended) in the piss-corner, so obviously this had to be Micturition Man, Teeny-Puddles-Guy. The Drippy Dude. (I still laugh out loud about that his attribute is a pee-bottle).
hi it’s robin, i just wanted to say thank you for correcting yourself about my post. also i understand the dislike for the line you originally mentioned, i personally have never written any omo scenes were someone talks to the character while they pee, i prefer someone talking to them after lol
also i never really considered the preference in omo writing where a character has trouble with relief when they let go since i’ve always liked writing hitchless blasts (and i read a lot of it) but it’s great to hear other perspectives and it makes sense
I'm sorry, but is this guy's name actually Harry Wood? Like, hello, I'm Officer Dick Joke
Hahahahaaaa, it appears so, or I'm grievously mistranslating "Harry du Bois". XD
He is an investigator; not sure if "private dick" or "department dick".
Anyway, I tend to give characters I like nicknames. Since I haven't played D¡sco Elys¡um myself, I pretty much only know this "Mr Wood" through what I've seen on my dash posted by @omoghouls (pls don't hurt him for my crimes). ^^;
Wobble. My dear. Please just answer asks by typing instead of writing over art and posting it as a picture. I am begging you. I can barely read your handwriting, especially not when it gets squished. This can not be easier for you.
Anonymous. Dear muppet. Thank you for your Askbox mail, and apparent interest in the Askbox responses I write - I'm sorry your experience with my silly handwritten-response-style hasn't been a positive one.
As for the reason I chose to "write over art and posting it as an image" --
Hello. 乀(≏◡≏) Here follows actual typed text.
So... (≦__≦) I am a deeply socially awkward and shy person - posting things on a Tumblr blog, to me, kind of feels like taking off all my clothes before undertaking any action in my apartment, in a building where all the walls and the floor and the ceiling are made of completely transparent glass. I'm somewhat unused to -and- very uncomfortable with being so visible.
-- This said, I do have the desire to communicate and make friends here. Giving myself the option to use my own handwriting (yay, I love my tablet!) has made me able to pretend I am actually just there with the person who sent me an Ask: it feels more personal, less public. And thus easier for me.
To my knowledge none of the (named) people who sent me Askbox mail have had any real trouble reading my response-scribbles (though if they can't make sense of my scrawl, I invite them to leave a comment on the relevant Askbox response post).
-- Since my handwritten responses were addressed to them, I'm not immediately inclined to stop communicating in this way.
.
However, I do realise I am a dinosaur, and was practically born with a writing utensil in my hand - many younger Tumblr-users are likely not to be as used to engaging with handwritten text as I am. And perhaps visually-impaired or functionally-illiterate people, who rely on text-to-speech bots to navigate websites and consume content, would be excluded from experiencing this part of my kooky blog stuff, too.
-- Most of what I write is very silly, but if I ever deem anything scrawled on my "defiled art" worthy of typed repetition, I could do that.
.
Again, thank you for your interest. I guess, at least for the time being, I'll take your comment under advisement - and at least try to make my handwriting a little less sloppy.
