toxic vtm fans always make me laugh. acting like we're not all roleplaying as ebony dark'ness dementia raven way in a cape. like how can any of you be so uptight and think you're better than others? we're all losers wearing plastic teeth here, so let's calm down just a little.

Not gonna lie, if you can't handle manipulative characters then I don't think VTM is the game for you.

my problem is that i hate the punk brujah trope, the ceo ventrue trope and the pretentious artist/club owner toreador trope. it's all been done too many times for me to find it interesting. i want more scholarly, philosophical brujah. i want mafia boss type ventrue. i want obsessive, serial killer toreador who don't care about their humanity.

It's fine if you don't personally enjoy it, but people need to unclench. Age gaps are as inevitable in vampire fiction as sucking blood. It is baked into it. And the reasons why age gaps are questionable in real life (e.g. lack of life experience) seldom apply to age gaps between Kindred. If you want to clutch pearls over age gaps, you picked the wrong genre.

I would love to see more physically old characters. I'm tired of vampire fiction being populated by characters who look like teens and twinks.
