Imagine animus healers. Limbs and horns regrown from items (branches, stone, etc). Animus healers being coveted by armies, individuals hiding their talents to avoid burnout.
An animus healer risking it all to save a patient, risking insanity to heal a dragon with major, life threatening injuries. An animus inventor or healer creating prosthetics that grow with a dragon, working almost perfectly- if not perfectly- to replace a missing limb or provide mobility aids
Give me animus healers and inventors doing whatever they can to improve life of patients by using not only their own abilities but the items around them. Just some evening thoughts.
