We finished that sketch in our intro post

Drawing wings of fire dragons is always so refreshing. The scale patterns are so familiar and the colors seem to paint themselves. Wings of fire dragons were the first thing we learned to draw, it’s just natural to us even after years of focusing on other subjects.

Silly me trying to design a functional hood for a dragon instead of just making it ✨magically work✨ like any sane person would

Wof dust is a rainwing because I’ve never been able to resist an angsty rainwing oc

For those who don’t know rainwings are a species of dragon that lives in rainforests! They are known for being very peaceful and for their bright color changing scales! Rainwings also have deadly venom that melts organic matter and can camouflage themselves perfectly in almost any environment(that’s why he’s not wearing a hood, because it would still be visible)

A rainwing’s scale colors often represent different emotions! Wof dust’s current colors are partly because of his mental state but also because of him not wanting to show any other colors. White usually represents pain/shock, grey is usually for sadness or blankness, and black means rage.

I kinda wanna make these a more serious wof au instead of just pretty designs I can’t stop thinking about killer always trying to get dust to change his colors
