It’s our favourite guy!!

I love drawing characters with markings.

I always thought of Qibli as skinny, long, and lean rather than broad and low. Just felt like it suited his personality and background better.

I made his claws a bit too blunt, but then I thought he wasn’t exactly a close-combat fighter anyways and maybe it was another reason to be bullied by his family.

SandWings have eyelashes, fight me.

And I make my life difficult by drawing SandWings and IceWings with weird eyes instead of just doing the sclera only black.

I like his book, Darkness of Dragons, but the ending with Darkstalker kinda drags it down, and a lot of side plots didn’t do much for me.

((it also spawned Vulture who has THE most difficult design to simplify))

But I laughed a lot during it and some dynamics were great. Darkstalker Legends and Talons of Power are probably still my favourite, but it was a nice read.
