I keep seeing WoF OCs with really awesome accessories and outfits and sometimes I worry that my character designs are to bland in comparison (usually having no cloths and maybe a pair of goggles or a scarf). I can't go back and change the chapters I've written though, and I can always give them a wardrobe refresh later in the story.

King Darkstalker Concept Sketches

Prior to the start of the Night Kingdom arc I did a few sketches to figure out King Darkstalker's design. This first one is from earlier in April where I was also trying to figure out an emblem design for his continent-wide kingdom (an idea which I kinda forgot about when sketching up his current design). He's also supposed to be wearing a chainmail vest here, though I'm not sure how well that translated to the simple cartoony style.

Later on I did a series of sketches to try to find a general Darkstalker design for the fic, which ultimately led to the current version of King Darkstalker depicted on the cover of the Night Kingdom arc.

Hidden grew up alongside his adopted SkyWing father and brother in a suburb of Drakenon. he is energetic and impulsive, and would often drag his brother Ricky and their RainWing friend Xavier into his many hair-brained schemes. Now aboard the Salvation, Hidden is incredibly excited to explore the multiverse and see all the cool places, people, and especially technology that's out there. He has a great interest in learning more about futuristic multiverse tech and making cool stuff with it.

Newshore Concept Arts!

I wanted to come up with a distinctive design for Spottail that really exemplifies her shonen protagonist energy. Not sure how well I accomplished that but I think this sharp design is pretty cool.

Even though most of these goobers show up for like 1-2 chapters and have little to no speaking lines, I wanted to put them on the cover and thus decided they needed some interesting designs. Honestly aside from Chrys (who looks a lil' funky to me) I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.

All Tancho wants is to return to her home world. But with the Salvation in need of repairs and its crew short on cash, she'll have to venture into unfamiliar territory if she is ever to see her village again.

WoFS Othermind Arc

Luna had hoped to avoid getting caught up in any more conflicts while helping the Salvation crew get home. But an all-too familiar threat from the past has other plans.
