"You look like death warmed over," Luke said as Ant walked into the studio. Ant resisted the urge to tell him to fuck himself. That was the last thing he wanted to hear right now.

As he walked over to the couch and threw himself onto it, Alex asked, "Are you wearing the same clothes as yesterday?"

Bobby made a disgusted noise in the back of his throat. "I know you got your whole grunge thing, but that's kinda gross, man."

"I don't remember asking," he snapped, curling into a ball on the couch.

"Ooh, someone's in a bad mood," Luke teased. Ant prayed that one of his guitar strings broke mid practice.

Reggie walked over and sat beside him, wrapping his arm around his shoulders. Instinctively, Ant buried his face in his chest. He was too exhausted to care about what the guys thought at the moment. "What time did you wake up?"

With a snort, voice half muffled by Reggie's t-shirt, he replied, "You can't wake up if you never got to sleep."

"Why didn't you sleep?" Alex asked, frowning as he sat behind his drums.

Ant reluctantly pushed himself out of Reggie's hold, so he could get up and they could start practice. "Monty was on a bender and someone had to make sure he didn't drug himself to death," he explained with a shrug.

"I will never understand what you see in that guy," Luke grumbled.

Ant sneered, "He could say the same about you." Then he lied down and buried his head under a pillow. "I'm going to sleep. Don't wake me unless someone died or there's a fire."

Oh yeah no you're absolutely right like it's true that Atlus are very tone deaf when it comes to Makoto and her whole wanting to join a police but that's on ATLUS not Makoto herself as a character because like it doesn't even make sense for her??? Like she's seen her father get killed on duty and her sister be corrupted so to speak by this line of work so why the fuck would she want to go into it and change? Especially considering P5 SHOWS US how corrupt the cops are so it's just really weird writing... On ATLUS' part... Idk it low-key makes me annoyed that people are able to forgive bad writing with certain characters but not extend that same curtsy to Makoto.

alright i know its a joke but i need to know -- does ava end up trying to catch spiderman in a giant glass and how does everyone else react?

ava is not a huge fan of any of the spidery hero types. because of the implication of spiders. and the webs are gross.

peter makes an offhand joke about summoning a hoardarmy of spiders and ava is in an internal panic for a solid work-week. she jams a wikipage of the effects of black widow spider bites in natasha’s face, this is you! this is your namesake!! if ava has to find out anything about the great spider totems, she is going to pass out.

in short, ava might not catch the main rw/amazing spider-man/andrew garfield spider-man in a glass, he’s on thin ice tho; but iron spider with those spindly extra robot legs? here comes the giant glass.

i hope im not late to the thngs you love about d20 but tbh i love the chemistry every single cast has! both the ih and the guest casts, esp in things like a starstruck odyssey and the seven. heck, a guest doesnt break their flow, or removing cast members, which is a lot of fun!

and you're so right, i really love the sidequests and the unique energy of those!! and even when there's a combo of ih and guest casts- like ally in mice and murder, they fit right in with everyone else and it's so clear that they make a comfortable atmosphere where people just want to have fun and tell stories together :')

also re: ashton possibly faking his accent;

as someone who has moderate to severe echolalia, he could've picked it up from someone else as well! i spoke in an american accent for so long my parents had to convince people i wasnt from america :') the only question is -- why specifically that accent?

Ngl I had to look up echolalia to make sure I knew what I was talking about. But yeah that's a really good point! I think it would be an interesting trait for Ashton to have. I'm mostly imagining them gradually starting to pick up and cycle between the accents of everyone in the party. But especially Imogen and FCG's southern ones, or Fearne's ethereal lilt. That would be so cute.

Actually, you gave me an idea. You know stories of people sustaining major head trauma and waking up speaking a different language or with a different accent? Maybe when.... whatever happened to their noggin happened they came out of it with a totally different accent, and even though they relearned how to speak in his original voice to not draw attention or suspicion, the one that came with the head breakage still slips out at times.
