This dumbass idea of a scene was floating in my head for half a year. Tetsuke's scale of 'fucks given' during most of DT's MSQ was barely above zero, and he dressed accordingly.

I wanted to run MCH for the story, and that also fit the 'I take ordering my lunch more seriously' vibe he had going on - let someone else get smacked in the face for once, he's on sabbatical.

'Trial by fire' was 75% of this poor woman's 'guidance'.

Edit: Don't ask how I managed to go out of my way to write the transcript and then not add it...I'm dumb as a rock. But it's here now:

Tetsuke: Good to go, then?

Wuk Lamat: Hold on! You’re not going to go up to face Valigarmanda wearing just that, are you?!

Tetsuke: ...Yeah?

Wuk Lamat: B-but...surely you’ll need some armor?!

Tetsuke: I do have ‘some’. I’m only missin’ one part.

Wuk Lamat: But the missing piece is the one that protects your most important parts!

Tetsuke: ...’Most important’ is debatable. Waist down has my usual gear, after all.

Wuk Lamat: But...even a barely-awake tural vidraal wouldn’t aim for your legs! You’ll die if you get hit!

Tetsuke: Well then, make sure I don’t get hit. Supposed to be your job anyway, yeah?

Tetsuke: Come on, we’re wastin’ time.

Okay I wasn't planning any gposes/edits for gay month yet, but ran across this and had to test it because Tetsuke already has stage backdrops set up in his house. So have some impromptu gays.

My friend picked up MCH for Dhani, so now everyone's going to suffer once Tetsuke shows him that you can, in fact, solve your problems by shooting them.

Part I of III

One of what I hope to make a series of fake comics for Tetsuke & Dhani's backstory and lore tidbits. My freind and I have figured out a system to set up the dialogue fairly painlessly, so here's hoping I stick to it. They're unlikely to be chronological and just be made purely by what scene I wanna see put together - inconsistency is part of my brand, after all! This one is set during DT, shortly after the Feat of Ice but before traveling to Yak T'el, and Tetsuke's moment of finally pulling his head out of his ass.

NOTE: This is technically the first fake comic I made; completely on a whim, too, just so I could better show my freind the mental image I had for this moment. I ended up liking the process (and result!) so much it inspired me to do more of them. So if there's inconsistencies in editing/dialogue style vs. the others I've posted thus far, that's why.

Dhani: You know...ever since you called me back, the world has been so much...brighter than it was before. Colors, sounds, scents, tastes...they are all so much...sharper. Dhani: I never realized until now...just how nice you smell. Dhani: ...I hope that was not too strange to say. Tetsuke: ...Not anymore than usual, but at least sayin' it now makes it less weird than sayin' it after I've been trapped in plate for six days straight. Tetsuke: Goin' to check somethin', hang on... Tetsuke [in thought bubbles]: Idiot really has no idea what that shit implies, just bringing it up out of the blue. Nice little reminder why subtlety doesn't work on him... Tetsuke [in thought bubbles]: Got a laundry list of shit like this he's dropped on me before, too, so it's not like he's not shown some kind of interest at this point... Tetsuke [in thought bubbles]: ...so maybe you should stop dancing around the fucking issue and do something about it... Tetsuke: [sigh] Fine.
