Nero and Cid have had an illicit relationship for forever. Cid is forced into a marriage which he ends up loving, as does Nero, and Nero becomes their little secret. There is far more to this AU but I had to get it in gpose because I adore it.

And of course, being a Stable Boy, Nero is not allowed to attend balls. He tends to and trains the horses.
