Two wolf eels at aquarium. Wolf eels are strong enough to crush a sea urchin in its mouth and eat it.

if i did marine biology, i'd focus on wolf eels. they are cool. why?

we don't know how long they live in the wild (a quick perusal of the interwebs claims that 20 years in captivity is typical, but wouldn't it be cool to find out more definitively? what if there's 100+ year old couples! :O THAT WOULD BE COOL think about how cool!)

THEY HAVE CHUBBY PUPPY FACES

they're monogamous (usually) or form male-male-female trios

they're attentive parents

they eat sea urchins so like sea otters they help kelp forests! :D

they're cutie patoots

they're not aggressive towards divers (unless you're pissing them off but whenever you do that, it's a bad thing soooo) and have distinct personas

they're fish in disguise. they're out to fool you! don't you want to figure out why??? (do eels get more benefits??? can they get nicer rocks more easily???)

so yes. wolf eels are the best fish.
