Do you think these mutts were crafted with Cato's body armor in mind? That the Gamemakers knew something like this would make for a long gruesome death for him? Or do you think it was all by chance?

the mutt hadn't bit Peeta's leg? Would Cato still have fallen off the Cornucopia without the blood making it slick?

The Hunger Games Day 5: Your favourite fight/ battle scene

I've got to admit, it was the battle scene with the wolf mutts.

Maybe it was because I was completely absorbed in the first book, but I was completely hooked on what was happening in the book in this scene. What made it more intense was when it was mentioned that the mutts had the eyes of all the different tributes. That kind of just pulled me into the book further (not that I wasn't hooked from the start of the Hunger Games trilogy anyway).

This was probably my favourite because as the battle with the mutts was going on, Cato was also trying to kill Peeta at the same time, so it was like a double battle going on! I don't know how to describe it, but this battle came so unexpectedly; one second, Katniss and Peeta were expecting Cato to kill them as he charged at them, and the next second, the mutts were chasing after them, and they barely got onto the Cornucopia in time.

But yeah, that was my favourite <3
