Balthazar and Kayla separated after that fateful day and romantic dinner. He went on his way in search of more artifacts and basically live out his normal daily routine, consisting of very luxurious requirements and much ado about nothing. He did help the Winchesters on occasion but it wasn’t anything extravagant. So more fetch and retrieve sort of plots.
He sighed, stretching his wings and dumping the snow he collected on them, he was currently sitting on the top of a church in the US, Rocky Mountains if he remembered correctly. It was snowy as hell, with vehicles trapped left and right and general wanton complaining and argument from the local who were not expecting a storm so late in winter.
He rubbed the bridge of his nose, the snow and temperature didn’t hurt his vessel but that didn’t meant he couldn’t feel it. The snow would stick to his wings like oil. It would simply send cold shivers down his back when enough collected to go down his shirt.
It was worse when he closed his wings and patches of cold would be inbetween!
He huffed, settling in as he had to wait for the storm to pass before his contact would even dare touch this part of the US, much less this part of the US. Desert peoples really hated snow.
He paused in them middle of his grumbling and musing, he thought he heard something off in the distance. A growl? Wolves may be out here but they rarely came out in the open, so close to civilization, human civilization that was.
He brushed his wings, and flapped his way up. Careful to shield himself from mortal eyes.
What he was odd to say the least, a wolf and what it appeared to be Kayla, was mauling poor innocent farmers defending their livestock.
He was shocked, how could she do this?
He settled down before her, as she turned to face him and he revealed himself.
“…Stop! These people aren’t evil! Why are you killing them?” He shouted, flaring his wings protectively.
The remaining farmers fled from the scene, while he began a stand off with her.
