Skylar visited Shannon that week in hopes of that helping in his political career. While he was there his daughter - who was still out on a date with Irulan at the time - called him and told him about the ring she found in her girlfriend’s bag. Of course Skylar told her to accept the proposal, so when he returned home his daughter was engaged!
With two small boys in the house, these two are very glad to have grandparents at hand so they can have some quality couple time very now and then as well.
