Hey, I'm sorry to bother you. Your comic was the first I've ever heard of the phrase "Sex Favorable Asexual." It feels like its describing something I haven't been able to put into words before. Would you be able to point me in the direction of sources where I can learn more about it?

hey, I’d describe myself as sex-neutral so I don’t have any personal sources but a quick google gave me the asexual visibility and education network, asexualagenda.wordpress.com, and r/asexuality that all seem to have first-hand thoughts/discussions on it :)

Favorite western? Mines unforgiven

Aw man dude Unforgiven is so much. So intense. Also now I kinda want to do a comparison of Fury Road and Unforgiven. I feel like there are a lot of similarities there if I examine it. Anyway, to actually answer your question.

My go to answer is usually The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence. Cause it’s not a typical western. And that makes it stand out from the crowd. I also appreciate that the love triangle is not actually a love triangle but a couple and a guy who thinks he’s got a chance with this girl who is not interested. Totally gives the female lead more of a voice than she would normally have. It’s been a few years though so I should definitely rewatch it.

I also love both True Grit adaptations. The Coen Brothers’ adaptation is a lot darker than the original though, so keep that in mind if you’ve seen one and not the other. I like it because these characters shouldn’t really be hanging out and they work so well by being forced together. Maddie is a girl who lived a pretty innocent life until her father was taken from her, and she loves him so much that she actually goes and hires a man to kill him. Total badass who really really needs a hug. Also Rooster Cogburn is hilarious and my dad and I regularly say “fill your hands you son of a bitch!”

And of course, Django Unchained. It’s just really fun to see Jamie Foxx kill a bunch of racists. Also he and his wife have this very sweet innocent love which is needed in such a bloody movie.Thanks for asking babe
