Ball python humidity advice??

I just switched my python from a plastic bin to a bigger glass terrarium. The bin was great at keeping humidity in, but it was also great at keeping it out too, which is why I switched.

I put about 1.5 inches of zoo med rainforest floor cypress mulch bedding, and the humidity was EXCELLENT…. for about two days :-/ The bedding is already COMPLETELY dried out, and I have to spray down the cage every hour in order for the humidty to stay above 40 :-/

Should I add a thicker layer of bedding??? Or would that just dry out too? It is so expensive….

I am now putting a cork board over one half of the top of the tank to try and hold in the humidity. I’m going to get a larger and shallower water dish and keep it in the middle of the tank to see if that will help as well.

Any other advice???

yep! i’ve broken my left ankle, and fractured a few ribs on my left side. also, when i was a kid i broke my left wrist (the left side of my body is kinda fucked tbh ;w; )

Moon: what are you currently studying/hope to studyI am studying medical science, 2nd year, i had hoped to finish next year but i just found out they are deleting a whole bunch of courses so i might have to finish in another 2 and im frEAKING OUT. and then im hoping for postgraduate medicine... its not looking likely sadly.

My parents love to travel, and they passed that gene on to me, with them ive been to a few places in asia, america once, london, paris, and quite extensively throughout germany! I WENT ALL BY MYSELF to Germany and Croatia this year AND IT WAS AMAZING, i have plans for paris, germany again and AMERICA AGAIN OH BOY DO I HAVE PLANS FOR YOU AMERICA

Pegasus: favourite place to bethis is a hard one, there is a beach house on the southcoast of australia that has a little front room that i love but i cant go back there because it was sold... i love being in warm, small lofty kind of rooms, but also Muse de Louvre at night in the sculpture gallery. 

Asteroid: what does your dream self look likehe is slightly taller than i am, slimmer too (no freaking thighs omg) he wears pretty much the same thing i do now (skirts and my pretty dresses included) but he is braver than i am and will wear freaking straight jackets and stuff. but most importantly he is comfortable and happy and confident! OH anD A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT CALMER THAN I AM. i like to think im yang and he would be yin even if the male/female energy is swapped. i think about this alot
