omg we need more wednesday and werewolf enid hcs! like, when wednesday found werewolf enid again and she cries and the wolf licks her tears! or when wednesday shivers ever so slightly in her sleep and werewolf enid just surrounds her to warm her up! wolf helping wednesday with investigations! when wednesday feels a tad bit unsure inside but maintains cool Nonchalant appearance but werewolf enid picks up on it bc wolf senses yk heart racing etc so the wolf presses her snout to wednesday's back or something to remind her she's not alone! or like idk werewolf enid tugging at wednesday's clothes sometimes to annoy her! or wolf walking in front of wednesday when she senses danger! AAAHHHHH I WANT MORE OF WEDNESDAY AND WEREWOLF ENID INTERACTIONS btw have you seen that interview clip of emma saying something like "use your (wednesday) guard dog (werewolf enid) for your work" ? GOD THAT'S WHY I'M SO INTERESTED IN SEEING WEREWOLF ENID AND WEDNESDAY i want to hear your thoughts on them too!! just realized it's basically like if wednesday gets a big, doting dog😭🥹
GUARD WOLFNID!!! this is all very cute btw
enid would 100% be whimpering in sympathy as wednesday trembles after taking so long to find her. since she's not used to seeing wednesday crying, enid would mistake it for coldness and draw her in to keep her warm. only noticing the tears when they wet her fur and she would nose wednesday's cheek and sniff her for blood until wednesday actually hugs her.
after they get home enid is in her most fiercely loyal form, mostly because without the human side to mediate her instincts, she just acts on it at all times
that means she lets herself be the protective (person? animal?) being she wants to be without feeling like she will be judged for it.
wednesday is going to eat something? well not without enid sniffing for poison first! and that causes issues after she breaks one of wednesday's mugs because warning sirens sounded inside her head at the unknown smell. she's right, there is cyanide in it, and wednesday needs to spend a very long time trying to reason with the beast that she's immune to it
investigating? enid walks behind wednesday to keep watch for nearby predators on the prowl until (as you put it) she senses danger. she uses her sense of smell to find clues and even bodies (to her utter disgust), wednesday only needs to point at something for her to pounce.
walking around town? enid walks unleashed besides wednesday and growls at every stranger throwing them dirty looks! it's the only time she's anything but well behaved in public (she's genuinely terrified of being put down for her antics)
if they're in the woods too late at night, enid has wednesday ride on her back because her sight is better so she can see the obstacles. if her steady gait and warmth makes wednesday sleepy and pliant as they finally reach home, she won't complain about the given cuddles
(it's either riding enid's back or being carried by her clothes, wednesday can't stand the humiliation of her feet dangling in the air even if being so close to enid's dangerous teeth is somewhat exhilarating)
and god forbid wednesday falls sick! enid will be sat on her bedside and sometimes lie down on her paws whining quietly at seeing her friend in distress. she knows her human form is much more useful so she grumbles annoyed at herself that all she can do is lay on wednesday's legs and look at morticia in helplessness as she feels her daughter's forehead.
when enid is turned back, wednesday is glad for the lack of fur on her clothes but she does miss the commodities.
