How I imagine established Wolfstar goes:

Remus: “Oh thank Merlin. I’m not alone in this. He actually loves me back. I can breathe. I can relax.”

Meanwhile, Sirius: “Wait… I’m allowed to be openly obsessed with him now? Stop repressing my urges? Perfect. Wonderful. Brilliant. Time to start licking and biting.”

I wonder if after Azkaban Remus and Sirius decided to go slow and rebuild their relationship or if they knew death could be around the corner and enjoyed every minute they had together... I imagine that they were trying to rebuild their relationship, mostly because they hoped dumbledore would fix Sirius situation

But then ootp happened and they didn't have much more time together because of missions and that explains Remus dealing so badly with Sirius departure... Because he had hope

HUGE fan of fics where Remus treats Sirius like he’s something precious • hugging him from behind, multiple kisses on the side of his neck • tucking his hair behind his ear with a soft cheek kiss • getting him flowers and sliding one behind his ear with a forehead kiss • wrapping him in his biggest jacket, hugging him close, like “mine” • letting Sirius rest on his chest while he reads on the couch, pressing kisses to the top of his head every other page • pulling Sirius close on the bed when he drifts too far, tucking him into his chest, with a smile on his face • kissing the tip of his nose when Sirius is scowling after a mini fight, just to make him laugh • waking him up with kisses on his shoulder, soft and slow • letting Sirius fall asleep against him on long drives, hand in his hair • dragging him in by the waist just to steal a kiss while they’re cooking • feeding him chocolate while he writes so he doesn’t smudge it on the parchment • when Sirius is sad, Remus holds his face so gently, whispering, “I’ve got you, love. Always.” Just letting him melt into his chest. • running his fingers through Sirius’ hair at night, softly murmuring until Sirius drifts off • tracing idle shapes on his back, when they are giggling about something on bed

…and most of all, when Remus let Sirius melt into his arms and forget the damn world and its burdens.
