Wolftalon | Wolfstar once timberclan's problematic leader, now the daylight warrior, wolftalon has been on a long journey in @forgotten-elegy and i'm so glad i get to see him in action. this is part of my secret swap gift for @calicotheory. i love the way thistle writes wolftalon, such an iconic and well-written wcrp character.

✨ for wolftalon?

✨ initial thoughts / opinions

very first thoughts were essentially "aw, he seems nice," and then that very quickly flipped to "too good to be true." wolftalon came off as the sort of heroic type when i first met him, self sacrificing and hopeful for the future of his clan which had objectively been beaten down pretty firmly by mountainclan at that point, but for as sympathetic as he seemed, i couldn't shake the feeling that he would be willing to take things too far when it came down to it.

and he did! which, you know, sometimes you just have to be a war criminal, but i think it was super fun to see the "softer" of the pair between wolftalon and coalstar get to go a little off the rails. his choice to end her life was one that still haunts him, i imagine, not because it was wrong but because taking a life like that is something difficult to come back from.
