subplot of this episode is "scott and stiles need to get coach finstock out of rehab, which he's been in for 7 months, but also he's faking his relapses because he just is sick of all the beacon hills shit, and the sole purpose for getting him out is so he can come coach a charity game, which they want him to immediately forfeit"

What are your Favorite theo ships?

my only romantic theo ship is him and liam. i just don't think theo has ever loved someone else, or even particularly liked. he's dedicated to liam in an unwavering, unconditional sort of way, even though he doesn't want to show it. he cares about liam being his best self (helping liam stay calm.... BEING HIS ANCHOR???) and cares about becoming his own best self because of liam.

i love seeing him interact with just about any other character though, just because he's such a fun and polarizing personality to play off anyone.

i'd have loved to see more of him and malia, without the forced-chemistry/romance/whatever-that-was undertones they had in s5. malia is the only other coyote, and she's also honest (am i calling theo honest? sure, in season 6 when he knows there's no point in trying to fool anyone) and thinks the best option in usually murder. i'd love to see them with a sibling bond, especially considering his, uh, issues with his own sister.

his antagonistic relationship with stiles is also great, i wish we had seen more of them interacting after theo came back from hell. and a greater exploration of his past with stiles and scott - elementary school flashback would have been great.

i also wish we'd seen theo interact with nolan (or interact more? they never had a one-on-one i don't think). i find them both such compelling characters, and idk if theo can turn people (probably not? idk, i blocked out a lot of the chimera storyline) but if he could i'd love to see him turn nolan. just for the lulz

trying to think of who else theo has relationships with.... i think whenever he next sees kira, he'll be terrified. she may not have her sword anymore, but she will be more powerful and in control than ever before, and i think you'd be scared of the person who sent you to hell whether they have the sword that facilitated that or not.

oh shit i forgot about his literal pack. s5 was a slog for me. the kiss with that one chimera girl before he murdered her was clearly a power/distraction thing, not indicative of anything else. the electricity boy...... i mostly ignored him. corey and hayden are obviously more major but i don't care about either of them particularly. i think corey, mason, liam, and theo all hanging out together (double date) is the funniest possible scenario though and i would love to see it. i guess i'd want a like.... estranged cousin relationship between him and the surviving members of his pack.

also i've clearly only seen the last 3 seasons once, and in rewatching i'd probably glean more of his relationships with others than i did this time. i really really really hope they fit him into the movie, he was at the precipice of something wonderful in the finale and i'd love to see where he is now.
