Send a ♚. Your character falls asleep on mine, I'll reply with what mine does.
Early morning and Elijah had gone out to feed. He fed most on mornings because it was when people were still sleeping and those who were awake were good enough food for him. Once he had returned to the compound, it was still early for any residents of the place to be awake. So he had taken the opportunity to walk around the house. There were a few maids that Niklaus had rounded to keep the house neat and orderly but Elijah paid them no mind.
As he walked through a hall, he heard a familiar woman's voice, groaning as if in pain. It was Hayley's. Elijah rushed to her bedroom and knocked before giving himself permission to walk in. There laid Hayley, clutching on to her stomach. The girl explained it was morning sickness and so he helped her towards the bathroom for her to throw up. He held her hair up as she did so then brought her back to her bed. After taking his time cleaning the mess, Elijah sat on the bed beside her and stroked her hair in hopes to offer some sort of calmness from it. And in no time, Hayley had fallen right back to sleep.
Elijah gazed at her for a few moments, thinking of how beautiful she looked even when pregnant. The way she slept smoothed her features that made her look her real age, which was younger. "Sleep well, Hayley," he whispered, kissing her forehead before he transferred himself on to the chair near the window.

My muse died in the hospital without yours knowing. Send me a “✉” for the letter they left for your character.
Dear Hayley,
For centuries, I have defied death, laughing in the face of fate. But everything that has been born must one day die. Such is the natural law, and even we cannot defy it forever.
I am no longer able to be there for you, to help you through this, though if there was ever any meaning to the life I had been dealt, this was it. For that, I am sorry.
That is the last letter you will receive from me, and I wish I had some words of wisdom to pass on that could make this time easier for you. Forgive me, young wolf, but there are none. Words may hold a power of their own, but whether or not you will be able to find some reassurance in them will depend solely on you.
All I can tell you, is I understand how hard it is for you. I know the fear that lurks in your heart, even if you try to convince yourself it's not there. But that fear need not be your enemy — you can use it. Learn to control it, train it to be your instinct. As long as it doesn't paralyse you, it can be your ally in the wars to come.
Dear wolf, prepare for those wars. gather your strength. Do not forget that there are people that care for you, and they will look after you when I am gone. You need not be afraid of Niklaus — I can assure you that he will do nothing to hurt his child, neither the child's mother.
Let this letter serve as my goodbye. Know that if I could, I would stand by your side and fight alongside you. I cannot do that anymore. Take care of the child and of yourself. For my sake.
Keep going, young warrior, know I have faith in you.
Tatia
