Despite delays, there is always khair (goodness). Allāh's plans are better than ours, so keep praying, practicing patience, and persevering. You are not losing anything. Even a prick of a thorn will be recompensed.

One Call Away

He is the One Who oversees  and controls everything You can witness it in the way  He regulates sunrises and sunsets  without interference;  Rivers eventually making  their way to the sea; Clouds carrying a load of  water vapor that condenses;  Stars filling the sky;  and the moon lighting up  the path which is covered by darkness;

Your words, tears, and musings are traveling  their path to the Heavens – one letter at a time - Your prayers too will be answered by Him,  the Lord of All the Worlds.

He is here, and He has always been here with you.  He will certainly hear your prayers,  and with His help, you will  always find your way back.

No matter how deep  the darkness in your chest is,  how lost you are among the people,  and how abandoned you feel; 

If you merely reach out in invocation to Allāh,  He will hear you,  see you, and  save you.

"And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." (Ghafir 40: Verse 60)
