how do eisha and sphene fall together? what is their favorite thing about the other?

I think they both sense a great loss in the other— waking up one day the last of your people, everyone you knew gone (for Eisha, that’s her Azem self hurting) This is more heavily due to Eisha’s Azem memories she’s regained after Ultima Thule affecting her greatly. She feels a pull towards Sphene, though, as that ache of homesickness/nostalgia lessens near her.

They both value the other’s compassion. Eisha is a healer who made an oath to help anyone in need, regardless of their backgrounds. Sphene cares so deeply for her own people (even 400 years later) and admires what Eisha has done and continues to do.

Anyway, SE heard me crying about Wolsphene and now I’m in ruins after 7.1

The ongoing 7.1 theory I have is that the soul that was used to create Sphene and the program used to give her directive were somehow separated.

Ascian tomfoolery would be fun too, but I have no idea whose shard of the Convocation it could be if that were the case.
