Imagine you showing up at his work one day. Because you had some strange people show up at the cabin home you shared.

Logan usually doesn't get visits from you unless you need to drop off something he forgot,drop off lunch,or something like that. But seeing you visibly shaken up. Got him concerned. But he approached you carefully and with a calm tone.

"Hey y/n,ya alright darlin?"

"Yeah,i,i just wanted to check on you is all" *says nervously*

"Check on me? Ya sure everything is alright darlin? Ya shaken like a leaf"

"*sighs* there was some strange men at our house. I didn't answer the door. I just waited till the left and pretend to nit be home"

"Good girl/boy/pup/kitten,just like we talked bout,what happened after that? They didn't come back did they?"

"No,i didn't see anything for a good 45. I got my things as soon as i saw the coast was clear and got in the truck and came up to the lumberyard. I-i didn't know what else to do. You know we can't call the authorities logan. I dont trust they'd do anything."

"*sigh* I'm just glad yer ok darlin. Look you stay here with tim and the boys,I'll take care of it. Ok baby?"

*logan walks over to you and kisses you reassuringly on the forehead*

"TIM! im clockin out early!"

*big burly teddy bear of a guy walks over*

"Early? Damn must be important. You usually dont clock out early,haven't in a while logan"

"Yeah well things came up...look can ya watch my spouse here fer a little while? Just make sure they're safe. They saw some weird shit back home. And they doesn't feel very comfortable."

And with that logan tracks the strangers who shook you up on foot. A semi-hidden path leading back to your home,one you both took numerous times before. A little secret walking trail made by his logging crew. Just for these types of scenarios.

At least wolverine is treated like a person and not a gimmick. Actually teaching important lessons. And being a cool uncle/dad figure.

At least wolverine when he does show up. He isn't treated like shit and thrown for an audience bone. And actually is important to the story being told.

At least he's not pandering to fans and going off of nostalgia bait only. At least they tried to be different and didn't try too hard. Because they were honest.

Sometimes it felt flat but not during really really important moments. Only during filler. And thats reasonable.

At least in this series. Wolverine felt like himself and had an impactful and important role without sacrificing his character to do it.

Unlike 97. They aren't egregiously gross and rude af to him in xmen evolution. They dont hide behind rude and fucked up comments of him being "smelly and rude and mean and horrible of a teammate" and other shit that makes me go "why tf are you still an xmen if the xmen are just gonna be gaslighting bitches and horrible people?!". Prove me wrong. They treat wolverine like a fucking idiot and then "lovebomb" his ass with "we are sowwy" bullshit.

No. Im done being silent on that crap. People get this shit irl. Oh because it's on a unconventionally looking short hairy guy. Suddenly y'all shallow bitches wanna act high n mighty.

The way the xmen treat the morlocks should speak volumes. VOLUMES.

I love movie wolverine. But only the wolverine in my head. Which is infinitely more time better than canon.

Still...i miss this wolverine. But in dp3,he ACTUALLY FELT like wolverine. Tho i love fox wolvie only because of the softer moments. Which to me is logan at his more relaxed. Look i feel there needs to be balance.

Logan needs his sweet side,AND his "IMMA TEAR YOU A NEW ONE BUB!!!" side.

But yeah,protective,stronk,wolvie. Good stuff. Especially when he's protecting kids,that warms my heart.

*also people severely underestimate height. On how tall or short someone is. They either overshot or undershot. 5'5" is the median for most range. Anyone regardless of gender is regarded by majority (in America at least) to be taller or short below or above that range. The average height usually fluctuates from decade to decade and so forth. But going by comicbook standards. Most people are 5'6' at shortest (not counting wolverine. He's 5'3" and is made that way BY DESIGN!) and 6'0" and up range for most majority. Because superheroes. But even then. Still. Keep in mind biases too. That's why i clarified "American" because in other cultures and countries. 5'5" could ve considered tall af. Or super short. Depending. So go by where you live in comparison. But all in all have fun. But also dont be afraid to make your femme characters tall and guys short. Or same height. Have fun.

Cyclops: 6'0". He's tall. And he should be.

Jean: 5'7". Shorter than cyclops but still tall.

Storm: 6'1" because fuck you i like storm tall and tall black women need rep. Plus it's cooler and infinitely better. And im spiteful.

Jubilee: her full max height should be 5'5" (without shoes or heels) no more. No less. She was shorter once BECAUSE SHE WAS A MINOR!

Rogue: 5'6" tall but not too tall.

Gambit: 5'10"/5'11". Average height for male. (Because people forget that 6'0 and up isn't average or the usual. Unless you win genetic lottery)

Wolverine: fucking short king if you make him shorter or taller than 5'3" i will fucking hunt you down!!! And being a short male character isn't a crime. Again im spiteful rn. So yeah. Wolvie,5'3" end of discussion.

Beast: he slouches slightly but his height at full extent is 5'11" but he looks bigger due to his mutation.

Prof x: charles is paraplegic. But if he were to stand....somehow. he was 6'0". Shorter than erik but taller than most.

Colossus: fucking 6'5" bro. He tall af.

Shadowcat/sprite: 5'4" one inch taller than wolverine. She totally takes the piss outta this fact. Lmao.

Nightcrawler: 5'9" tall but not super tall. He stand on his tippy toes tho. So maybe he appears tall?

Angel: tall. He's 6'1". His wings make him seem bigger tho.

Iceman: bobby isn't super tall. Kinda like 5'7" or 5'8" but tall none the less.
