Well this is… brutally horrifying. Who knew Lindsay McCabe had this in her! Not me, that’s for sure. However, and if this isn’t a haiku manifested in comic book form, turn the god damn page and you find out she was acting!!

Lindsay McCabe is the greatest actress of all time. She even had me fooled and I’m just some dumb asshole reading about this shit in a comic book!!! What the hell is she doing bumming around San Francisco and Madripoor with Jessica Drew?? She should be on Broadway! She should be winning Oscars! What a national treasure. God damn Claremont really had a thing for superheroes ripping the skirts off women didn’t he. Here’s Wolverine doing the same thing to Jean Grey about a hundred years ago. I wonder how many times Chris Claremont has done that to his wife. Or some woman he barely knows at the orgy party he’s throwing. I bet Chris Claremont and his friends have a Hellfire Club. And I bet Claremont pretends he’s Sebastian Shaw. He probably wrote Sebastian Shaw as himself in the first place for all we know! He kinda looks like him now that you say that. Wolverine was pretty overpowered while he was inhabited by the Black Blade, but per usual, after a while he’s just kind of like "nope, not today, bub" and he regains control of himself. I think he and Storm are the only two X-Men who are consistently strong willed enough to do this when people try to mind control them, and it’s a pretty darn neat character trait they share. I can’t even hold my white male privilege back when I’m in line at the grocery store and some boomer is trying to pay with a check that won’t run through that little machine. HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD BOOMER LOOK AT HOW LONG THIS IS TAKING WHO EVEN USES CHECKS ANYMORE. I HAVE TO GET HOME TO WATCH QUANTUM LEAP ON OVER THE AIR BROADCASTING AND YOU’RE SITTING HERE TAKING FIFTEEN MINUTES TO WRITE OUT HOW MUCH YOUR GROCERIES COST. (Wolverine Vol. 2 #3 – Jan 1989)
