Supernatural (not the show idk it lol) / World of Darkness / Werewolf: the Apopcalyse* verse
* some lore charges i am making here because some lore bits and rules are just weird, and i also mostly following 5th edition, which i know some find as a particularly overgutted version of WTA, as i do find some the 5th edition changes to actually be better
Edgewater, California is home to one of the largest us-based caerns and a second smaller caern, as well as home to several state-side packs and tribes. The population is guessitimated to be between 100 to 200 across the whole of the Edgewater country and neighboring counties, with no exacts because some smaller packs keep to themselves. This makes the place a hotspot for spirits and other supernatural as well as a greater concern for Litany breaches with a population that large as well as for a lot of pack fighting over protection of the two caerns. There is always a threat that with how much supernatural energy is there in Edgewater of Hunters showing up.
Garou society within Edgewater is matriarchal, with most pack leaders as well as both caerns' septs being overseen and protection by the women of the community first.
Notes for VTM-informed: I do see that Edgewater county have a small kindred/vampire community that is considered Anarch (regardless of clans) as far as the Camarilla is concerned. The population of kindred prescence in Edgewater is sub 70, possibly less, given the amount of garou/lupines in the area and werewolves are one of the vampires natural predators. This means that the politics of Kindred is VERY personal and tense, including possibly needing to have treaties and agreements with the garou in the area; lest they be hunted. Kindred in Edgewater are most concerned with survival and may find that larger cities and Camarilla cities have it a lot easier than they do, both due to Edgewater county general population and the constant threat of annihilation by the werewolf packs in the area.
Now onto more specific information about Sharon, the Leones, and whom between the two casts of Fire Country and Sheriff are werewolf and who are human in the know or not.
Sharon Leone's general information
Tribe: Hart Warden (formerly known as Fianna)
Strongly based on Celtic and European traditions, they are known among the Garou for their passions for the pleasure of life, their skills and ferocity in battle, and as keepers of the music, stories, and lore of the Garou. They are the keepers and stewards of nature, whether hallowing the pristine “undiscovered” places in the world or cultivating someplace particularly important to them toward a more structured purpose, such as a farm or orchard. It might be a sprawling country estate, a tarnished river valley that needs to be revived, or even a hidden bit of green space in the CBD in New Orleans, but they are there, coaxing the promise they can out of their pack’s bit of creation.
Auspice: Philodox (waning half moon)
The Philodox is the "middle" Auspice, most moderate in Rage. Their role reflects this - it is their duty to mediate, counsel, and keep within them a balance between the conflicting elements of the Garou. They are also keepers of the law, those who uphold the Litany. As such, they are also judges and of great importance in discerning the truth and making important decisions. Often chosen to be leaders (although most often during times of peace), they tend to carry a sense of authority about them. Within their pack, Philodox often serve as leaders, and it is their responsibility to ensure the pack acts in accordance to the Litany, and also maintains order and balance. Those of the Waning Moon are thought to be perfectionists and more nervous than their waxing kin, and are associated more with maintaining order and balance.
Sept Position: Warder
Warder is a term used by werewolves to describe the title of the Garou responsible for the consolidation and organization of the caern's defenses, as well as its surrounding bawn. In peacetime, the holder of the position of Warder must make certain that the static defenses stay in good shape and that regular patrols secure the integrity of the bawn's borders (even if the Warder herself has to make those patrols). The Warder decides who may enter the bawn and who may have access to the caern's heart. In very small septs, the Warder may also act as Keeper of the Land, Master of the Challenge or hold some other major or minor position in addition to her guardianship duties.
Sharon's pack includes: *wta note (packs do not have share or come from the same tribe)
(garou) Walter, Luke, Vincent, and Bode Leone (recently reunited)
(garou) Mickey Fox (recently reunited/dual pack status), Wes Fox (recently reunited, dual pack status), and Skye Fox (has not gone through first change yet)
(garou) Eve Edwards (formerly of another family pack)
(garou) Manuel Perez and Gabriela Perez (recently joined and formerly of another pack)
(garou) Jake Crawford
(human) Lilly Crawford (late ex-husband was garou which resulted in Jake being garou)
(deceased/family/garou) Riley Leone
(garou/family but not pack) Ruby Quinn (not accepted by sharon)
(human, not pack but closely tied) Audrey James (does not know), Travis Fraley (knows), Nathan Boone (does not know yet)
There's been a lot of tension with the Leone family pack, with much falling apart when Bode had first went to rehab, and the pack downsizing even further upon Riley's death and Bode's arrest. There was a lot of tension with between the sisters, that resulted in breaking down of the family and pack. With Bode being outsed by Vince, and Mickey outsed by Sharon (which along went Skye)
For the most part? Most of the show states as it would be, except with some extra spicy flavors of seeing the pack grow and crumble with the shows highs and lows, as well as the potential threat of "rage taking over" and OOP you gotta get out here before you shift, as well as Sharon & Vince being like "you can't change right now to get out of this!" or "do a rescue" by shifting (you know bode would a few times and get in trouble)
Sharon is part of the larger Edgewater Caern's sept, which is overseen protection by three separate packs, with her family pack being the smallest of the packs that organize the protection of the caern. She is a Warder amongst the roles needed upon the Sept, which has put her in the hot seat lately with threats of her leadership being threatened for all that public knowledge about her family troubles over the years and wariness about her sheriff sister, as well as her role as a firefighter with Cal Fire, and her closeness to humanity and protection of humankind, as well as her willingness to hear and have pace with the Kindred society in Edgewater.
