Today is the 1 year anniversary when countless women decided to stand up against injustice and unite for our fundamental rights. It is a time of strength and ownership of ourselves. This is more than a match. It is creating waves for the future generations to KNOW the value and respect they deserve. This is history in the making. 💪🏿💪🏾💪🏽💪🏼
we stand together.

This is the America I stand for! This is the America my parents illegally migrated to! This is the America that gave them hope! “El norte” donde sus sueños se harían realidad, donde sus hijos pueden prosperar! Today as I stood in a sea of people fighting for one underlining cause: human rights. I realized that it was important to me to be part of the woman’s march because if it wasn’t for women I wouldn’t be standing here. I’ve never been a boys boy, I’ve never played a sport, I’ve never had many guy friends, I’ve never fit into the boy crowd. I was always bullied by the boys for being “feminine” and the girls never turned their back on me once! They did the opposite! They respected me as a person! They gave me hope and allowed me to be me! And I will continue to fight until women are treated with respect and equality! Not only for women but for all the boys who need them to survive! Together we stand tall! This is not your fight but our fight!
