I heard the faint sounds of the sitar wafting through my speakers, magically materializing to me through the static.

It was late one night long ago, when I was tuning around the FM dial trying out my new FM antennas and signal amplifier window to the world, and heard the faint sounds of the sitar wafting through my speakers, magically materializing to me through the static. I was surfing the radiowaves of the atmosphere and finding the whole experience to be rather mystical. After hearing a phone number mentioned I enthusiastically called. It was Diana Fabbri that answered the phone that evening, introducing me to the station in Provincetown as well as the concept of this free-form community radio idea. I eventually even visited WOMR, and soon started sending programs to the station. Best wishes for all sentient beings as we keep on surfing the ionosphere enjoying the analog and digital magic happening on the left-hand side of the FM dial, knowing that these signals are drifting out into a vast cosmos where they endlessly will continue to reverberate. -- James, Spiritual Awakening Radio
