For this zine, Faust is illustrating the homoerotic dynamics within the Wonhwa, a 6th century (Silla Era) Korean class of all-female warriors, which preceded the all-male Hwarang!
As some of you might have known, other than drawing, I have been taking interest in cosplay photography as well. photography and drawing is very much similar in a sense that you need to think of composition and how the subject looks for the entire big picture.
So I just wanted to share on how my take on the shoot I did last fall of Yumikaze / Won Hwa from Aura Kingdom!
The thing I like about private photoshoot is that I get to think and brainstorm with the cosplayer about some ideas or plan for the shoot before the day of shooting. Not a lot of times of course, but some series I sometimes have a clear planning on what kind or type of picture I wanted to take. Usually even when I do have them I got really lazy to thumbnail it but one of the shoot last Fall I finally get to actually doing so hahaha.
So these are the comparison of the thumbnails I did and the result after the shoot! As you can see not all the thumbnails are used eventually since you get new ideas while you are in the shooting location as well.
It was fun nevertheless and hope to do something like this again soon~

千隼/Wonhwa/Yumikaze by Natal Toran Cos Finally get to shoot this cosplay wooo! TvT! Its been a year since we have the costume but never had the chance to do any proper photoshoot with it but now finally We did!!! Hoping to shoot the Envoy of Gaia soon too TvT!
It was supposed to be small preview but got carried away once I start playing around with it x'DD It was a really fun shoot! Tried and experiment on new stuffs and plus I love the game too much, it just have LOTS of beatiful design to be honest!! *-*
Big shoutout to Dueks for helping us on this shoot!! Thank youuu!! without u all these shoots wont be possible!!! TvT!!!! hehehe and it was so much fun! x3 Hoping to do more shoot of this series~!!
