Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈 We’re a queer art book publisher, led by two (married!) trans artists.
We aim to preserve and celebrate queer stories in print media as a way to fight censorship, focusing on multicultural and other diverse representation.
Stay tuned for our trans zine launch in September!
The test prints are looking good! Question: Will we be able to buy any of the add ons like the stickers through pledge manager once that comes out? Or would all of the packing already have occurred?
Unfortunately we won't be able to offer extra add-ons with the pledge manager, mostly because the merch is limited edition, and we want to make sure there's enough first, in case there are misprints, B-grades, etc.
We will be selling any leftovers later this year in our shop though, along with more books for anyone who missed the Kickstarter! Our website/shop isn't open yet, but we'll be sure to post about it when it's ready so you can grab anything else you might have missed out on.
Our test print of We've Always Been Here finally arrived!! 💕
After a bit of a delay with the shipping, we're extremely happy with the printing quality and have now placed our order for the full set. The merch was ordered last week, so we're totally on track to begin shipping in late June! 🥰
Thank you so much for all of your support, we can't wait to get the books in your hands shortly!
✨I was selected as an artist for the moments of euphoria zine✨
Thank you Sapling and Felix for having me onboard in this awesome project! Please keep a close eye on @taplingzines for news and to see the other selected artists! MOE zine will launch its kickstarter later this year, I'll keep you updated✨
All application decisions for Moments of Euphoria have been sent! 💫
Everyone that applied should receive an email, so please check your spam if you didn't receive anything.
Get ready to see some amazing trans joy art in the near future! 🥰
Hi! I just found your account and projects, and since I missed the final day for a late pledge for We've Always Been Here, I wonder if there will be digital copies for sale at a later stage? I can't find the info anywhere, sorry if it's been mentioned before!
Yes, we'll be selling both physical and digital copies later this year (as well as any leftover merch, but merch will be fairly limited)!
Over the next couple months we'll be making a proper website where you'll be able to buy it, along with our other future zines once they're available. Website orders will be shipped out once all the Kickstarter orders are complete. 😊

Question, why isn’t furries/fantasy allowed? I shared the project w/ friends, many of which r trans and express themselves thru furries + non-human characters. I know it’s not your intent and I understand the concept of this zine is human euphoria but some of them feel excluded because fantasy stuff isn’t allowed. Furries + fantasy are a huge part of the trans community and it helped ppl discover their identity. Some ppl who are closeted feel safer expressing themselves in fantasy settings
It seems like there's some confusion. We never said depicting these experiences wasn't allowed, we actually welcome it! We just want it done through a lens based in reality. There are plenty of other projects that are fantasy-focused, and ours just isn’t one of them. So for clarity, here's some examples of what we are looking for and not:
Allowed: A transmasc character getting his first fursuit and experiencing gender euphoria through that, or someone dreaming up and drawing their fursona Not allowed: Anthropomorphic characters
Allowed: A transfem character dressed in “witchy” clothing with various herbs and spell components around, expressing her gender through this type of style and spirituality Not allowed: The same character enchanting her hairbrush to float and brush through her hair
Allowed: A nonbinary character cosplaying as the character they play for D&D, an androgynous elf, at a convention Not allowed: Characters that are fully depicted as tieflings, elves, satyrs, etc
We don't have any set limits on what sorts of experiences people can depict in their art, just the way they're portrayed, and the way the scene is set must be something that can actually happen in this world.
Hi, I submitted the application for the moments of euphoria and realized some of my pitches might not be fitting for the zine, should I resubmit portfolio?
Yes, you can either resubmit (and please mention at the beginning of your first idea that you're resubmitting so we'll notice that it's different even though the email is the same), or you can send us an email ( [email protected] ) and let us know your updated ideas and we'll make note of it. Thank you!

I got excited by your new zine project, until I saw it was only artists. I respect y'alls choice, of course, but I always get so sad that I can't really contribute as a writer.
We’re not able to accept writing submissions for a few reasons, the biggest being the mods’ disabilities. We’re both disabled in ways that limit our capacity (since reviewing writing portfolios takes significantly longer than visual art portfolios) and one of us has dyslexia too. This is why we create art books specifically. We also aim to reach queer people all over the world, not just those that speak English. This means, to include writing submissions, we’d also want to be able to reliably translate our projects into multiple languages (which is also a lot of extra work and cost).
Thanks for understanding!

I have a question about your upcoming trans zine! I saw it's written that the characters must not be from a fantasy setting. Does that means that our character must be in a setting corresponding to our world (be it historical, present or future), or does that just mean you are looking for characters that are fully humans but possibly part of a story not set in our world ?
Hi, great question! :)
Essentially, we're looking for pieces that are based in reality and are relatable to everyone, so we want characters to be human, and the setting to be in our world (past or present).
However, we do welcome things like:
"Alternate universe" settings of fantasy characters, for example, an elf or tiefling character from a D&D game made into a human version
Something that might appear as fantasy at first glance, like someone finding euphoria through cosplay, as long as the piece doesn't have actual fantasy things like characters doing magic, unicorns, etc
Surreal art styles to show a feeling, for example, a wordless comic about someone feeling euphoric about their gender for the first time and feeling like they're "floating"
We know this is a bit up for interpretation, but in general we just want to avoid things like D&D settings, use of magic, fantasy creatures, etc.
If you have a specific idea you want to run by us, feel free to send another ask and we can reply privately! Thanks!
