Moodboard for Afternoon, chapter 1.

Collins knocked on the wooden door of the building and waited for an answer. An older man wearing a navy blazer with several patches sewn onto the sleeves, and medals dangling on the breast opened the wooden door and smiled. 

“Hello young man, what can I do for you?” the man spoke with a gravelly voice and a posh accent, making Jack slightly self-conscious of his thick Scottish one. He fumbled over his words a little, 

“Hiya, I’d uh, like to apply to join the RAF.”
