It was peaceful, to leave the hustle and bustle of the village. The large fire, of course, was a large source of comfort -- but there’s a familiarity in the call to those to carry lanterns and light the way, one that calls to Ophilia’s heart. Heading quietly down the trail to the forest, she begins to light the lanterns that line the path, humming gently to herself as she goes. She was a flamebearer, then and now. What flame, exactly... was she carrying?
It is almost enough to unsettle her. Almost. She pauses, noticing some steps on the trail, pulling back into a smile as the stranger approaches. “Forgive me... I didn’t realise someone else was already tending to this trail.”
