They were childhood friends turned sweethearts that didn't even well </3 They originally met while the two were staying in the hospital, because they're both pretty sickly/prone to getting Really sick out of nowhere. They became fast friends due to both really liking birds.
After Tori's passing, Coto swore to always try and be positive, to be a light in people's lives, like how Tori was a light in hers. So even with her kinda poor health, Coto's always optimistic and cheerful when interacting with people.
