Not gonna go into the whole spiel I went into on Twitter this morning regarding shotacon/lolicon, but, I will say that those things are not welcome in any space I put forth in my community.
The idea that we, as Vtubers, should collectively be accepting of these because bigger streamers want to put forth these betrayals is quite honestly offensive to those of us who want nothing to do with minors, are openly forbidding of minors in our spaces and curate our spaces to make sure people sexualizing young characters/individuals are not allowed.
Let me be very clear: I’m an 18+ streamer. I choose to inhabit and create spaces not appropriate or welcome to minors. I have no interest in interacting with minors, or anyone who sexualizes them. Similarly, I am wholly condemning any individual who puts forth a Vtubing identity as someone whose shota/loli and uses 🔞, NSFW, or 18+ in their bios, content, or about posts, and any fans/viewers who find this acceptable. This is an absolute red flag and it is abhorrent.
If you condone any of these things I believe it is best you block me and that we don’t interact.
