Skyward Sword impressions

I've FINALLY got to have a go on Skyward Sword! YAY! So I thought I'd spew out my first impressions:

At the beginning of the game there is SOMUCHTEXT, but you get less help as you progress.

The graphics are very pretty - the game looks lovely on our big HD TV. I approve of the filter that makes far-away objects look 'painterly'.

Character animations are lovely.

Every time I read Ghirahim's name I call him 'Ghirahime'.

The dungeon design feels fresh and different.

I have died while playing >_<

My total playtime so far is 8hrs. I've done the first two dungeons. :)

MA BURFDAY

Its my 20th Birthday today! I didn't ask for anything, apart from Skyward Sword (not out yet), Arrietty on DVD (not out yet), and a Zelda T-shirt (not printed yet) so I wasn't expecting much, but I got lots of cool stuff! Though I'm not OFFICIALLY twenty until 12 minutes to midnight (UK time) so I'm still nineteen (for now...).

P.S - Over 30 followers?! Thank you tumblr-peeps!
