When I booked this easter trip to the south island, I didn't yet know that I was obsessed with wool, but subsequent events have proven that I am. So I went on pilgrimage to Tallyho Wool Carding! Here's my haul - 1kg of mixed carded Romney and Gotland (I've spun 100g of it already 😅) and 100g of green Corriedale.
(The Corriedale came to me unexpectedly: we went into a weaver's shop in the tiny town of Lawrence and got chatting with the weaver. When she heard I was a spinner, she grabbed this bag and pressed it into my hands. Apparently it came in a package with no name/address and the postie gave it to her as the most likely person in town to know who might have wanted it.)
