I am sick with the awful cold that's been going round (day 5 of barely leaving my bed, woo) so I decided to start crocheting a shawl for a friend. It's gonna take a very long time I am sure, but it's helping me not go insane! Plus the colours are pretty.
The pattern is one I got for free from Wool Warehouse. It's called Polly Plum Rio Arriba Shawl. My pattern is in UK crochet terms, there is also a US version.
Yarn is from Hobbii, called Dahlia Halloween, in colour 02, and is 100% cotton.
Side note, I can't believe US and UK use totally different terms for crochet stitches, and I always worry when I pick up a pattern that it'll turn out totally wrong because I'm using UK terms and it's written in US terms or something.
