Ridiculous labradoodle!
My dog seemed to be posing for a photo.
Yay! New yarn delivery at work. Looking forward to starting knitting with these once I have finished my 2 ongoing scarves.
The scarf is a 2x2 rib and I am carrying both yarns up the side in a twist.
This is a scarf I have started for one of my nieces. I thought it would be a good Christmas present, and an excuse to buy more yarn and try stripes! This is knit with super chunky stylecraft swift knit, it is lovely and soft and knits up really quick on 10mm bamboo needles. I have ordered some more in some other shades and its so easy to knit with. I am hoping to knit a matching hat or headband too.
Close up of the scarf. The variegated colours are quite random and the wool is really soft. I am nearly through 2 balls and I have 2 left to go.
This is an ongoing scarf in Sirdar indie, knit on 7mm bamboo needles in a broken rib stitch.
In my needle felting box you can see my needle felted owl, the first thing I have made, with the guidance of my lovely mother in law who is a very talented super crafty artist. Also a tiny little snowman who will be a Christmas decoration when I get around to giving him some eyes and his carrot nose.
An introduction to my knitting box and me. I am a beginner and this is my current stash of wool/yarn etc. There is some Sirdar indie, some stylecraft super chunky swift knit and my needle felting box. I am still a super beginner at needle felting (in other words very good at stabbing myself with the needles). I thought this would be a good way to document my knitting progress. I have already become quite addicted to buying yarn.
