Of all the articles and what have you that I have read about Titanic, this article in the Daily Mail sticks with me the most, I’m not sure why. The sentence ‘Her final moments on deck [...] were shared with Woolner, discussing the brightness of the stars’ pops into my head quite a lot, particularly when I look into the night sky.

Woolner was quickly at her side, she wrote: ‘Woolner laid an arm over my shoulder. The gesture gave me an unwarranted sense of security.’They went back to her room to gather a few of her belongings.
