Variety Stream Room Q&A: How long has it been since we last saw Eve and Villanelle on the bridge to this moment?
SWG: We reckon it's been about 8 or 9 months
Sandra: Long enough for Eve to gain skills, so 2 years
Jodie: I thought it'd only been 5 or 6 months, because I honestly just don't think Villanelle could last in a church for a year and a half
Moral of the story: Even the people making the show DON'T KNOW how much time has passed 🤦♀️

oh my goddd it's such an underrated moment in the motion picture when, referring to voyager 6's longing to touch its creator, mccoy says that it might be disappointed by its "god" bc its creator were humans and spock says, "perhaps not, doctor" and then him and kirk look at each other lovingly. that's so cool bc as it turns out what v'ger seeks is to physically and mentally join with a human in order to experience what lies beyond logic, which in turn is also what spock realizes about himself over the course of this film--that a life devoid of emotions and consisting only of logic isn't enough for him, and that he's in love with kirk and that he wants and needs that love in his life.
