I'm a poet, and by that identity, I am loyal. When I love you, I immortalize you in my texts. Now that I love you, my love for you never ceases. My love will endure until the end of Time. I cannot even call you my Beloved to your face, and even so, I love you even if we were never to be together. I love you because you are. I love who you are. I love how you came to be. I love your mind. I love how you show up in the world for yourself and for others. I realized that culture and society teaches us that love is only love if it results in our union – I don't believe that to be true. Love is love because I love. And I love you. And I feel joy because you exist.

i have lived too many lives to tell you how to live breath to breath from passing moment to next

walk with flowers, pressing softly between  your feet  run above roaring mountains, rolling  clouds laugh at absurdity, clothe yourself in  warmth and kindness and surround yourself with people who make you feel both

i dreamt it all away all chatter, fear, doubt i was left with joy, love, and lots of laughter.

all is still and tranquil.  Dawn in midst of slumber  watchful Wind brushes my fingers kisses my cheeks  greets me before all this summer.

me, 4-5am is a magical time

the human condition is this: to feel one thing is as if to feel it forever but once the feeling subsides is this: clouds parting after the rain --what sweet relief to feel the sun kiss the tops of your eyelids once again!
