sick sad girl.
I’m just the tag along, I’m just the ride. Alone I’m a good set of ears but in front of company I’m nothing but an embarrassment. I’m pathetic. It’s a wonder to me I have any ‘friends’ at all. Let them be, set them free. It’s pure guilt. You’re disgusting. Crawling, creeping, simply cruising in your own awful skin. Thick and mucky. Full of dirt and damp self-doubt. A solid piece shit. Something those around can only hope is recluse; regurgitated rubbish. Leave everyone alone. You’re a bug. A baffling burden. Where’d you come from? And how do we get rid of you?
I already swallowed the shadows and now they're starting to gnaw away at me internally until they finally devour me whole. I'm rotting from the inside out.
I miss the way things were set in time, the way you kissed my shoulder blades, the way you carried my limp body out of the rain. the sadness in your eyes when I giggled about almost falling off the roof. that mexican man offering me a cat, that was nice, it was all nice.
My face is red and my hands are purple. There's a disconnect between my head and limbs. It follows from my brain to my body. Actions and reactions. I'm losing it man, I'm showing up to a slippery slope with a sled.
Being unpredictable became predictable, so I became boring, but now I'm bored
my body feels like lizard skin, my insides out, my outsides in.
sometimes my body feels so heavy it hurts to lift my head. and my fingers are made of stone and my bed is one with my bones.
