My understanding about Plagiarism
Using outside sources for writing an academic essay is very common because it can support the essay’s ideas more clear and persuasive; however, we have to keep in mind that we are borrowing someone else’s ideas, not works. Therefore, the most important thing is we need to fully understand what the source is and translate in our own words to essays.
Plagiarism means that we copy or buy someone else’s works online or earning credits from others works. Plagiarism is not using someone else’s ideas as source to make an argument; it’s simply stealing someone’s ideas and knowledge. On the other hand, when we are using others ideas to support our essay, we will take time to understand the sources and translate them in our own words.
The simply and fast way to identify plagiarism and citation is “Works Cited Page”. That is the way to tell readers what sources is I using, and provide them to check for it.
