Work Is Work — Willi Carlisle
haul the ashes, fire the clay love grew ten feet tall in the time you were away did you heed the call? were you led astray? work is work or it wouldn't pay
Man, I finished a clean lineart and I'm now exhausted. oof, I worked for so long, my eyes hurt, I'm tired. Surely this took me at least 2 hours to do, right?
...

Well, today in "am I gonna be that person?" This was posted above the time clock at work this morning:
I'm fairly certain it's against company policy. But, also I don't need to see Christian propaganda every day when I'm just trying to do my job. This isn't inclusive. This doesn't make me feel like part of the team. It doesn't feel like working together. It feels like a daily trigger.
It's ok to ask a buddy to help you move all, and it's also ok to pay a company to help you move.
It's ok to head over to a friend's house for a meal, and it's also ok to pay a professional for your dinner.
But somehow some y'all can't seem to understand that it's okay for a pal to send you nudes, and it's also okay to pay a sex worker for their content.
