This weekend I caught up on …. Venus in the sky, Naughty Babe, Hidden Agenda Why R U and rewatched a couple of episodes of Between Us. Also, I did go outside some Saturday for a work picnic and later a festival!

It was our work picnic. At noon I left the office, bussed home, collected my dog, and went to Lincoln Park. The two hours we were at our picnic were the only two hours in the last several weeks in which it rained. It didn't rain at all after the picnic, either.

Sam was a big hit because he is so cute. My (former) boss picked up a log with a large jellyfish on it.

Went home. Had an out of body experience from being SO TIRED. I was hungry but I didn't know what I wanted to eat. Finally I decided to just leave the house and I found out that Ellen hadn't eaten a meal ALL DAY so I picked her up a sandwich from The Highline. While I was waiting there I ran into my friend Chad. We talked about life and how it frequently sucks but we also talked about music and programming.

Went to Ellen's. We ate our sandwiches (go to The Highline and eat a Howie, you won't regret it) and talked and laughed and we sang impromptu karaoke and I sang her a couple songs and she played me some Fiona Apple. Ellen has a very good singing voice.

Went home.

Work picnic just got busted up by the police.  no lie. we are now moving to another location.  Best. Picnic. Ever.
